ITTIA DB Inventory Demo

This demonstration shows how ITTIA DB's lightweight client/server capability enables applications to easily share data. By downloading this demo, you can witness the high performance shared data access made possible by ITTIA DB. With row-level locking, multiple applications can work on the same database in tandem without slowing each other down. And because no server configuration is required, the applications just work out of the box.

This demonstration also highlights ITTIA DB's notification feature, which gives each application instant feedback whenever the database is modified.

The ITTIA DB Inventory Demonstration program shows ITTIA DB in a simulated inventory management system. The demo contains two programs that simulate a point-of-sale terminal and a supply chain terminal. The point-of-sale program rapidly removes items from inventory, and the supply chain program automatically replenishes supplies when the inventory becomes too low.
